In Loving Memory of Lily Hope O'Brien Born to Heaven on March 20, 2003 Lily, our sweet Lily You are our Angel, Sent to us from above. The time you were here, How can we not love? We long to hold you in our arms, But for now we will have to hold you in our hearts. Giving you life was our hope and our dream, But on this Earth you had to part. From the moment we saw you and held you tight, You were so tiny in our hand. Looking at you made us realize, Our love for you was grand. You are our precious daughter, Forever you will be. I got pregnant with Lily and we were so excited.............I had some bleeding at 7.5 weeks and thought we m/c again. Saw the doc and he did an U/S and I saw my baby perfect as can be......he did notice that the placenta had pulled away from the wall, but he didn't seem that concerned. At 13 weeks everything seemed to be going well, baby was growing, heart was beating etc. I went to see him 4 weeks later (Mar. 19th) and he went to find the heartbeat with the doppler and couldn't so he used his U/S and that's when he told me the bad news........my baby had passed. He told me that he was going to induce me the next day, as I was too far along to have a D&C. I delivered Lily Hope on Mar. 20th at 6:42 pm. I was 17 weeks along. We got to hold Lily Hope and we also took pictures of her. She was so beautiful. They found out that nothing was wrong with Lily, she was a perfect baby. These are two beautiful and loving gifts for Angel Lily from my dear friend, Carol, mom to Angel Michael. Silent Footprints We never had the chance to play, to laugh, to rock, to wiggle. We long to hold you, touch you now and listen to giggles. I will always be your mother. He'll always be your dad. You will always be our child.........the child we never had. But now you're gone.........but yet you're here. We sense you. You are our sorrow and our joy. There's love in every tear. Just know, our love goes deep and strong, we'll forget you never. I'll Hold You In Heaven From the very beginning I loved you, As I made plans to hold you and rock you; You were tiny and helpless as you lay in my womb, But something went wrong and soon you were gone; My young heart was broken, my tears fell like rain, I'd never known such heartache and pain. I wonder who you look like, me or your dad, Do you have my smile and his eyes? Would you have been big and tall or tiny and small? We had dreams for you that reached to the skies.
