~*~Antonio Shows Andy His New Apartment~*~
Antonio: (Unlocking the door) "Here we are. My own place."
Andy: (Walks around the room excitedly.) "Oh my god!"
Antonio: "Well, at least it will be. Rosa's husband Hector said I could take the place if I could come up with the security deposit and first month's rent, right away. He's got other folks that want it. So Cris is on his way with money. And Nora said I could put off the research until tomorrow. So uh... what do you think?"
Andy: (Smiling) "I think it has real potential."
Antonio: "Well, it needs a little bit of work but, I can handle that."
Andy: (Laughs excitedly.) "One question. Where do you sleep?"
Antonio: "In luxury. A little flip of the wrist. (He starts to pull the couch out.) Help me out here."
Andy: "A little flip?"
Antonio: "Yeah. Got that side? (They pull out the bed.) Not so bad, wait I haven't checked it out though. (He sits down on the bed and bounces a little bit.) It's not so bad, check it out."
Andy: (Andy sits down beside him on the bed) "Well, it would be better with sheets."
Antonio: "Well the true test is when you are lying on your back."
Andy: "Really?"
Antonio takes her face in his hands and begins to kiss her passionately.
Antonio: "You tell me."
He moves to her neck and begins to kiss it.
Andy is smiling for Antonio's lowering her down on the bed, still kissing her.
Andy: "Mmm... Seems all right to me."
They are still making out.
Antonio: "So you think you could get used to sleeping here?"
Andy: "Definitely."
Antonio: "Good, because if I have it my way you will be spending a lot of time around here."
They start to kiss again.
Andy: "So did you get a good deal on the place?"
Antonio: (Sitting up) "Yeah... yeah... not bad, you know? I mean... you know? With uh... with the mortgage payment to the Diner and all... I'll still be cutting it close."
Antonio is standing up now.
Andy: "Yeah but things are going pretty good at work aren't they? Since your mom is doing all the cooking?"
Antonio: "Yeah, yeah... and who cares if I'm a little strapped poor, you know? I mean, I've been living at home practically ever since I got out of Statesville and even if this isn't the nicest place in town, as soon as Hector gives me the keys the place will be all mine."
He holds his arms out.
Andy: (Smiles) "And that has definite appeal."
Antonio: "I was thinking maybe you and I can celebrate this evening. What do you say?"
Andy: "Oh... I can't think of any place else I'd rather be."
They kiss passionately.
Antonio: "You know, sometimes I think this is all a dream. I mean with getting the Diner back, working at a law firm with someone like Nora Buchanan, getting my own place, and you... it makes me kinda nervous. You know, I'm not used to getting things going my way, it's uh... it's kinda spooky. I don't know if I can handle it."
Andy: "That's why I'm here. To help you cope."
Antonio smiles at her and leans in to kiss her. They kiss passionately yet again. There is a knock on the door. Cristian opens the door, Jessica is with him.
Cristian: "Tonio?"
He sees Antonio and Andy on the bed kissing.
Cristian: "Oh... I am sorry."
Antonio: (Hurriedly gets off the bed.) "Oh hey, it's okay. Come... come on in Cris. Hey Jessica."
Jessica: "Hey Antonio. Andy."
Cristian: "I really like it. This place is great! I like it."
Andy: "Oh isn't it great?
Antonio: "Did you bring the money?"
Cristian: "Yeah... it's right here."
He hands Antonio an envelope.
Antonio: "How's everything at the Diner? Is everything cool?"
Cristian: "Oh yeah everything's real cool. There's no heat."
Antonio: "What?"
Cristian: "Something's wrong with the boiler. I don't know, mom's getting all worried because the customer's are complaining now and she's like all freaking out."
Antonio: (Sighs exasperated) "Great. Uh... I'm gonna have to go down there an uh... check things out. Look... do me a favor and uh..."
Cristain: "Yeah?"
Antonio: "Take this and make sure that Hector gets the money, okay?"
Antonio hands Cristian the envelope. He pats his shoulder.
Cristian: "You got it no problem."
Andy: "Uh... I wish I could go but I gotta go back to the station."
Antonio: "Look, it's probably no big deal. But um... I'll meet you back here later?"
Andy and Antonio are against the door, they kiss passionately.
Antonio: "And bring some sheets."
She leaves. Antonio has a grin on his face.
