Hello and welcome to Neo Midgar's FFVII Debating. Just when you thought she couldn't do anything else, she reverts to arguing to entertain. Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time, and lemme tell you, it seems even better now.
I have in the past tried to sum up common author's portrayls of characters and unfortunately I wasn't as general as perhaps I should have been. The people who I have asked to help me out with what will hopefully be amusing and not terribly serious debates are authors themselves of fics I admire or people of known taste.
<<On the left you'll find a list of the lovely people involved in the debates. All are utterly fabulous people. If you click on their names you'll find questionaires that will be added to every debate so you can know them a little better. Hopefully the list will grow as topics go on and this will not be the first in a series of flops. First and foremost, to kick things off, I will shoot my mouth off, people always seem to cringe at that ;). I will explain each question beforehand so give you an idea of what was going through my mind when I thought it up.
The questions up for debate are not on any particular genre. But all are on FFVII fanfiction. Be aware though that some questions deal with yaoi/yuri, but not entirely. Not everyone in the debates reads or writes this particular kind of fanfiction. In fact most read and or write both non yaoi/yuri and yaoi/yuri stuff. Here we do not discriminate, and we hope that you don't either. This is only really meant as a bit of fun entertainment bought on by too many late nights and too much caffine. Just keep an open mind and enjoy the ride.
