I love all kinds of music, jazz, classical, pop, whatever. However, personally, jazz is always my favorite. When every time i listen to jazz, i feel free and easy. As to classical music, i love it because someone i do care about loves classical music so much. She has passed away at 17. Forever young, maybe! Another important reason is that i used to have a very handsome violin teacher. Unfortunately, he didn't love me. Such a pity! Well, from then on, i can't help myself to pay attention to men who can play violin and have long beautiful hair.
As to the pop music, it's the best way for me to learn L2 or L3. Through foreign pop music, I can know more about other culture. There is no barrier in the world of music; this is how i feel.
