My Outdoor Cats |
Wade Flame pointed Persian mix male with the most gorgeous blue eyes you'll ever see... assuming he doesn't head for the hills when he sees you! lol My youngest brother named him after the always scared duck from the animated Garfield cartoons (U.S. Acres), as he is afraid of anything and everything almost all of the time. Go figure, since he was born and raised here, and all of our other animals are cool with almost everything. |
Puss in Boots Known just as Boots around here, this gray and white Maine Coon mix female is the only girl kitty (as of right now anyway hehe) and the daughter to my beloved late cat Nova, who was half Balinese and half Maine Coon. She is younger than Wade by about 5 months and the two of them are *best* friends. When she was a young kitten, Wade took an immediate liking to her (weird as he was horrified of her littermates lol) and they've been buds ever since (yup, that's him in the background, staring at my dad. lol) |
Sir Galloway Yup, Galloway, like the breed of cow. lol Gally is a less than bright kitty, and fits right in with Wade around here. *grin* He's very vocal and super loving, never wanting to be more than inches from the closest human. He likes to give people hugs (he'll wrap his front legs around your neck) and be a royal pain. But, life around here wouldn't be the same without him. Aside from being a cat with my girl Boots and 'fraidy boy Wade, the three of them like to pretend they're bunnies, including eating bunny food, hay (see below) and hanging out in rabbit cages- if I should let them have the chance (be there a bunny living in said cage or not.) Yes, my kitties are just a *little* confused. lol |
(Note: All my cats have been spayed or neutered.) |

Another candid of Gally, this one taken in the main part of my barn (directly outside of my rabbitry) while we were actually trying to take pictures of some bunnies. Gally decided that he needed to "catch" the stray piece of hay sticking out of the bale (after playing with it thoroughly of course) and when it finally came loose, he promptly ate it! SR's Altair, a Holland Lop buck, looks on from his cage (the bale of hay is sitting on it), seeming to wonder what on earth my foolish cat is up to now. |

*squint* "So tired... it's 7pm already? The life of a cat." *sigh* |
(skeptically) "What do you want?" |
Look for pics and info on the newest additions to the bunch... Pip and Gracie!! |
