If you live in the midwest, check out the used selection at Motorcycle Performance of Madison, WI.  Nice shop and some good deals.  Other Madison shops include Madison Motorsports, Bob Barr's Kawasaki/Ducati, the Engelhard Center, Motorcycle solutions,  Scharers Triumph, Capitol City Harley, and Hanleys Victory.  Also, for BMW folk, Mischlers is not far away in Beaver Dam.

The only bike that currently matters to me: Mine ; ) A 1987 BMW K100LT...sorry for the dark photos.

Try to imagine it in a metallic hunter green with gold stripes.  I'll put up some action shots when I get some.

Top 10 list of nifty things about my K-100 (LT) 1.  Sidestand retracts when you pull in the clutch 2.  Asymetrical headlight (beam is lower on left than on right-shows ditches well without having to go to high-beam). 3.  2 power outlets-one for ECM (radar detector), one for heated vest (dont really need with fairing) 4.  Self cancelling turn signals- lowers stupid factor 5.  Not a racer, but so much torque you're really never in the wrong gear 6.  Self-adjusting (Nyvomat) rear shock- you dont gotta crank 7.  Still the best stock tool kit in the business 8.  Centerstand grab handle tucks away, I seldom need the side 9.  Stock stereo loud enough to be heard over whooshing of intake 10.  Pre-wired for hazard lights (4-ways) if I ever get around to installing the toggle on the dash
