The Man of Sin
is revealed from the
Inscriptions in the Dome of the Rock
Throughout history there have been
individuals who epitomized evil and who were hostile to everything the Lord
Jesus Christ stands for. These
antichrists have lived in every generation and will continue to work their
evil. One thing is certain and that is
before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ God will reveal the identity of “the man of sin . . . the son of perdition” who is a completely evil man. He will be Satan’s tool, equipped with
Satan’s power. (1 Thes. 2:9) This “lawless one” will be
the ultimate Antichrist. The apostle
Paul wrote about this Antichrist in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12.
1 Now, brethren, concerning
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask
you,

Not to be soon shaken in
mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as
though the day of Christ had come.
3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for
that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is
revealed, the son of perdition,
4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all
that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the
5 Do you not remember that when I was still
with you I told you these things?
6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his
own time.
7 For the mystery of lawlessness is
already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of
the way.
8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of
His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
9 The coming of the lawless one is according
to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
10 And with all unrighteous deception among
those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they
might be saved.
11 And for this reason God will send them
strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
12 That they all may be condemned who did not
believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

S: In
the name of Allah the Merciful, the Compassionate. There is no god but Allah alone,
without partner. Say: He is Allah, One, Allah, the
Everlasting, who has not begotten and has not been begotten. He is without
equal. [Qur'an 112] Muhammad is Allah
's messenger, may Allah bless him.
SW: In
the name of Allah the Merciful, the Compassionate. There is no god but Allah
alone, without partner. Muhammad is Allah 's
messenger. God and His angels send blessings on the Prophet.
W:
0 you who
believe, send blessings on him and salute him with all respect. [Qur'an 33:56] In the name of Allah the Merciful, the Compassionate. There
is no god but Allah alone.
NW:
Praise to Allah who has not taken a son
and who does not have any partner in dominion nor any
protector out of humbleness. Magnify Him greatly. [Qur'an
17:111] Muhammad is Allah 's messenger.

May Allah, His angels and His
messengers bless him and Allah grant him peace and
mercy. In the name of Allah the Merciful, the Compassionate.

intercession on the day of resurrection for his community.

of believers, in the year seventy-two, may Allah accept [it] from him and be

it is better for you. For Allah is one
god. Glory be to Him - that He should
have a son! To Him belongs all that is
in the heavens and in the earth. Allah suffices for a guardian [Qur’an 4:171]. The Messiah will not disdain to be

Allah 's
servant; nor will the angels who are stationed near to Him. Whoever disdains to
serve him and waxes proud, He will muster them to Him, all of them. [Qur'an 4:172] 0 Allah, bless your messenger and servant,
Jesus
NW:
son of Mary. Peace be upon him
the day he was born, the day he dies, and the day he is raised up alive. That
is Jesus son of Mary, in word of truth, about which they are
doubting. It is not for Allah to take a son. Glory be
to Him.

When He decrees a thing, he only
says to it 'Be' and it is. Allah is my lord and your lord. So serve Him. This
is a straight path. [Qur'an 19:34-36 paraphrased]
Allah, His angels, and men possessed of knowledge and upholding justice bear
witness that there is no god but He. There is no god but He
SW: the all-mighty, the all-wise. The true religion with Allah is
Islam. Those who were given the book did not dissent except after knowledge
came to them, when they became envious of each other. Whoever disbelieves in
Allah's-signs, Allah will swiftly call to account. [Qur'an
3:18-19].
