Hola locos! Yo soy Tchort. I am 27 and I live in Kristiansand, Norway.
2-WHEN DID YOU START YOUR CAREER AS A MUSICIAN?YOU ARE
SESSIONIST IN MANY BANDS NOW,CAN GIVE US YOUR OPINION
OF YOUR OWN WORK IN YHESE BANDS. I started in 1988 or around that time. We were a group of friends who wanted to form a
band, but we didn’t play any instruments, so we chose an instrument each and started to
learn how to play. My first real band, was Green Carnation. We released a demo in 1991.
The guys in Emperor heard this demo, and asked me in 1992 to join them. I did their
first tour in the UK with Cradle Of Filth as a support. I also recorded the In The Nightside Eclipse with Emperor. I left them in early 1995.
Then I joined Satyricon in late 1996 but left them in the summer of 1999. I did some
festivals and concerts with them and also helped rehearsing some of the material on Rebel Extravaganza.
In between this, I joined Einherjer to help them for their European tour with Cradle and
Old Mans Child. I left them at the same time as I left Satyricon. I joined Carpathian
Forest almost 3 years ago now, and I am still with them, and I have recorded a 7” and 2
albums and also done all their shows ever. We reformed Green Carnation in late 1998
and have done two albums now, but the style is like Doom metal / prog rock. Then I
have my Death Metal band, Blood Red Throne.
3-YOU CONSIDER SOME OF THESE BANDS LIKE THE BAND OF FULLTIME PRIORITY FOR YOU?,HAVE YOU TINK IN YOUR OWN
BAND? I consider Carpathian Forest, Green Carnation and Blood Red Throne as full time bands and all have my highest priority!
4-YOU PREFER TO CALL YOURSELF "TCHORT",ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL REASONS BAHIND IT?IS LIKE THE "tchort"
MEANING "satan" ON THE SHITY SATANIC BIBLE??,OR IS SOMETHING
WITH NORWEGIAN THINK?
Tchort is a Russian word for Black Demon. I found it in an old book, but I have also seen the name listed in the book you mention.

Ofcourse I am a Norwegian, and I love my country but I am not extreme when it comes
to that. I am antichristian, but not a devil worshipper. I think that I stand higher than any god and therefore I don’t follow anyone but myself.
6-WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT SATANISM,WHEN ORGANISATIONS
LIKE THE CHURCH OF SATAN HAS MADE SATANISM SO ACCEPTABLE AND LIKE A KIND OF CHRISTIAN THING!!
I don’t care about, as I cannot stop it, so I don’t bother to spend energy or time on them
and how they work. They seem to be a bunch of old sex oriented bastards to me anyways.
7-WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE NORWEGIAN SCENE AT THE MOMENT?ANY BAND WORTH MENTIONED,AND WHAT DO YOU
THINK OF ALL THE NEW BORING AND CHILDISH IN THE WORLDWIDE SCENE??
I have lost track of all the bands coming, both from Norway and other countries. There
are some good bands but I am sure there are a lot of shit bands also, but I haven’t
bought new albums for a long time. I get some promos from the labels I have bands on, and some of the bands I liked of those, are Exmortem, Ackercocke, throneaeon and
Severe Torture.
8-GENERIC B/M IS NOW A TREND!,ALL THESE KIDS ARE JUST
CLOWNS...HE HE HE!,NOT BECAUSE THEIR WEAR CORPSE-PAINT,
IS FOR THE LACK OF IDEAS IN THEIR MUSIC!!!!.
Obviously, not everyone can make a new style or something totally original, but they
should atleast try to not make it so obvious that they are copying other bands…

BANDS THAT ARE NOT CAPABLE OF REALLY DOING SOMETHING
GOOD AND OUT OF THE ORDINARY?ACTUALLY THE WORLDWIDE
SCENE IS JUST A BIG SHIT,VERY FEW BANDS ARE CREATING GOOD STUFF!!!.
I think many bands don’t have the time or energy it takes to work hard to create
something new or unique. Its easier to put on some corpse paint, get a keyboard and girl
with big tits and sing high pitch and call themselves the next Cradle or similar band, than to work
hard to convince people and media that this new style you have is good enough for attention.

I like Severe Torture, Throneaeon and Exmortem and also Ackercocke who mixes death metal with other styles.

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION OF THEIR LATEST RELEASES??
I haven’t heard the last albums from Sepultura and Deicide, but the new Cannibal Corpse albums
are great I think. I am pretty sure I wouldn’t like the new Sepultura though, because Arise is the
last album I really liked with them, but I saw them 2 years ago on a festival – damn, they kick ass
live!!! 12-HAD YOU LISTEN THE "of blood and flesh" ALBUM FROM
HOLLANDS OCCULT?...THAT IS A REAL KILLER DEATH METAL ALBUM!!!.
No, I haven’t! I have met the guys, because they were filming some Carpathian Forest shows we did in Holland, but I never heard their music unfortunally.

Many of the photos on the site are taken from the area around the house I live in. I also live close
to the sea and mountain so I have all three elements close to me – mountain, forest and ocean.
Its great, I am very fond of nature.
