I got my degree
in
bioengineering at the Facultad de Ingeniería, Universidad
Nacional de Entre Ríos (Argentina). My degree thesis was "Automatic
recognition and segmentation of grazing sheep
chewing sounds"
and it is an application of automatic speech recognition tools (hidden
Markov models) to this particular sounds. A draft version of this
document will be available for
soon.
Right now I work as data analyst for the analysis department of Tuboscope Pipeline Services.
From 2002 to 2004
I worked at the Cybernetics Laboratory of the above
mentioned Faculty, in a R&D Project called
"Developement of a Speech Laboratory".
From 2005 tom 2006 I worked at the Bioengineering department of Hospital
Durand in Capital Federal, Argentina, where I used to take care of medical
equipment management and manteinance.
On the other hand, I work as a freelance programmer through the portal
Rent-A-Coder. My profile is available .
My areas of
interest are Object-oriented design, analysis and
programming, 3D graphics with OpenGL, signal processing.
