( intro )

I first got online sometime in 1995 (or was it '94?) before the Internet was as large and well-known as it is now. For some reason, I decided to set up a website. It was small at first, a little site about me, given out mostly to friends I made in chatrooms. It was simply called The Lair of Pia'Sharn (Pia'Sharn being my most common online nickname, if you recognize the reference, I will be amazed). I learned HTML from scratch and had to resort to free graphics to add pizazz. Despite all the work, it became something of an addiction.

As I continued on, I would often get the desire to create a site to my current obsession. The interests changed, and the websites grew. By this point I had several, and writing down all of the URLs got to be a hassle. I therefore dismantled my old Lair site, and created a collective. The result is the website that you see here.

I don't always adhere to rules of website design with this site. I have made resolution-specific versions and others riddled with Java Scripts. Given that it is more or less a personal site, I am not too worried about making sure that it is compatable with every browser out there. The current version, however, should work on most computers. I don't know how the TABLE commands will respond for everyone, but they're a pain in the ass in the first place (you have no clue how many times I had to rewrite the HTML before the bloody thing would work).

Gracing this version are Anthy Himemiya and Utena Tenjou from Adolescence of Utena (the movie for the Revolutionary Girl Utena anime series) in honour of CPM's release of the aforementioned work. Although I still think that the design they used for the VHS and DVD boxes suck. That movie has so many beautiful images, I don't see why they had to choose that particular one. But I digress.

Poke around this site if you are still curious. You might just find something that you will enjoy, although I cannot guarentee it. Feel free to drop me a line if you have any comments, questions or concerns.
