This is a simple example of a text fader applet that generates random messages (insults) in the style of Shakespeare. It inherits from a more generic text fader applet class. All of the valid parameters to this applet are specified for the example, so look at the source for this page and experiment!
The source code is available here. Do whatever you want with it. Naturally, no warranty is provided, either express or implied. In particular, there are no warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
