On Location in San Francisco

Robin Williams, a local resident, has been filmed on-location in and around San Francisco for a number of his movies, including Mrs. Doubtfire.
He's been filming Bicentennial Man for some time now. I never got to see the star of the movie. But in the spring of 1999, I saw a rather strange sight under a famous bridge. . .

Factory Facade
This false factory facade represents the fictitious Rupert Burns Enterprises. 
It was constructed next to Fort Point, under the Golden Gate Bridge.

Q: What structure was removed to accomodate this fake factory? 
A: Public toilet facilities.
