Welcome to Orbital Debris Free Themes
Themes are just an extra "doo-dad" for Windows. But, they help "dress-up" your screen and add to a more enjoyable "computing experience."
I have spent inmeasurable hours creating these themes just for your pleasure. (Actually I created them in my spare time when I was bored, HA! HA!) But seriously, I hope you enjoy them.
To download your Orbital Debris Free Theme, just click on the link and select "Save as:".
This will download a "Zip" file onto your PC.
To install your Orbital Debris Free Theme, open the zip file using PKZip or similar program. When prompted for "Extract To", select "C:\". The files in the "zipped" files were saved with the "Full Path", so they will automatically install to, and create (where necessary) the following directory structure:
c:\program files\plus!\themes\rk_aliens
for the Aliens Theme
c:\program files\plus!\themes\rk_startrek
for the Star Trek Theme
c:\program files\plus!\themes\rk_s_park
for the South Park Theme
c:\program files\plus!\themes\rk_stooges
for the Three Stooges Theme
After the files are installed, open "Control Panel" and "Desktop Themes" and select the theme you want to display. Then open the "Desktop Properties" and select "Screen Savers" and select the appropriate screen saver. (Hint: They start with "rk_") Now you're set, and ready to enjoy Windows with all the "lights, whistles and bells."
Also, the Orbital Debris Aliens Free Theme has a font (nasalization.ttf) which needs to be installed in order to get the full effect of the theme. Just open the "Control Panel" and then open "Fonts". Under the menu item "File", select "Install New Fonts" and select the path
"c:\program files\plus!\themes\rk_aliens\nasalization.ttf".

The reason these files are so large is because the "Wallpaper" files are in Windows "*.BMP" format. I know that Windows supports "*.JPG" format for wallpaper, but I haven't found out how to make that format work in "Themes".
If anyone can let me know how to do that, I will convert the wallpaper to *.JPG format and decrease the file size by about 1,300 kb.
