Pulled from Dr. Tom Silverman's psycological profile on Benjamain McGuinnes on November 27th, 1997
"Please state your name for the records." A man asked.
"Benjamin McGuinnes, Captain" was his response. He sat in the darkness, with a spotlight shining down on him. He could feel the presence of the Doctor, almost sense the distance between the two.
"You no longer have a rank with S.N.A.I.L.." The man said.
"Never the less. I am Captain." He answered back. His entire body covered in the black Flex-Steel. The feel of it alien to his entire body. Only his eyes were visible, and they were seen through a metallic visor. All made from Flex-Steel, and all to protect the doctor from the patient.
"Do you know why you are here?" The man asked.
"Psycological profile." McGuinnes answered. "It is required for all S.N.A.I.L. agents to conduct a full examination." He had to have an examination performed when he first joined with S.N.A.I.L. almost seven months earlier.
"So let's begin, shall we?" The doctor responded, as he sat down in a chair.
McGuinnes could here the springs move as the doctor sat back. "Let's begin." He responded smiling behind his mask.
"Question 1: How do you feel?"
"I'm dead, how do you think I'd feel?" McGuinnes answered.
"How do you feel?" The doctor asked again.
McGuinnes didn't answer.
"HOW DO YOU FEEL!!!"...silence.
"Next question," McGuinnes responded silently.
"Question 2: What is your favorite sport?"
"Killing" The doctor looked up at him.
"That isn't a sport."
"It's called, Hunting."
"That isn't the way you put it." The Doctor responded.
"Next QUESTION!" McGuinnes shouted.
"Question 3: Where were you born?"
"I don't know." The Doctor knew McGuinnes didn't have any knowledge of his past before entering this realm. It was mostly used as a way to throw McGuinnes off and answer the questions more freely.
"Question 4: How old are you?"...silence. "Do you know how important this examination is?"
"Do you know how close you are to your death?" McGuinnes responded.
"I don't think you shou..."
"That's right, Doctor. You don't think. You are a complete buffoon." McGuinnes stands up as his shackles tighten around him. "I should kill you and leave this place." He swings his arms to the right as the chain snaps from the force. The Doctor looks in horror as the 7' tall, walking dead man stands above him. "Do you want to know why I am here, Doctor?"
"I already know." He said with fear. "I read you profiles."
McGuinnes grabbed the short doctor and lifted him at least a foot off of the ground. "Tell me why I'm here!" He ordered, his deep voice echoed within the room.
"What about COX?"
"He ordered a second examination." The Doctor cried. "I'm only a psychiatrist. I don't know why, I just do the examinations."
"Do you want to know why I enjoy to kill?"
"The world is dead to me. I am a corpse. Rotting, maggot infested, flesh peeling, need I continue?"
The doctor shook his head in fright.
"I am using my anger to increase my strength. I am using my hatred of the living to make me go on. I didn't fall over to rot away because I was strong enough to continue!!!"
"Your, INSANE!!!" the doctor shouted.
"Is THAT your diagnosis?"
"Yes" McGuinnes could see the fear in his eyes.
"Have you ever looked into the eyes of a dead man?"
The doctor shook his head, no.
"I don't have that look... only my body does." McGuinnes answered as he put the doctor down. "I maybe insane, by your point of veiw, but look at what I've become. I am a monster. Do what you want with me... I am after all, a corpse."
He eased into the chair as he sat back down in the spotlight. He could hear the sound of soldiers running up to the doors.
"I am placing you under house arrest." The doctor responded. "Have you ever heard of the installation, Purgatory?"
"You will be escorted there under armored troops and be contained... Indefinitly."
"Is that my sentince for being what I am?"
"That is to reform your way of thinking."
"I am to be reprogrammed."
"You are to learn to cope with what you are." The doctor answered. "That is what Jim Cox wants."
"What does he want?"
"He wants you reformed, so that your can go out in the feild again." the doctor explained as the lights turned on. The thin doctor in a white lab coat stood close to the door. "If it were up to me... I'd have you drugged, disected, and removed from this place." He opened the door and a squad of soldiers ran into the room. They threw McGuinnes to the floor and shackled his arms and legs.
"When I get out of Purgatory!" McGuinnes shouted as the doctor started walking away, "You will become a part of me...LITERALLY!!!" McGuinnes shouted as they dragged him off, and covered his face.
The Doctor walked up to the guard in charge. "Cox wants him there in one piece."
"We'll do our best." The guard answered as he shook the doctor's hand.
"Tell the warden that the prisonner is highly unstable and that he should be persuaded from time to time."
"Yes, Sir." The guard answered and walked away.
"Oh, and by the way, Jack!" the large guard turned around. "It's Captain, he doesn't die easy or bruse."
"Yes, Sir." Jack answered and stepped onto the transport. "Prepare for departcher." He ordered. "It's time to go home."
Captain sat in the holding cell, but could not break loose. The shackles were designed specifically for him and his counterpart. He was powerless as the tranport headed towards the prison.
