The K.A.T. have developed a great deal of robotics and bionics. They uses robots inplace of warriors when they want to gather information with out risking the lives of one of their own. Some of the warrior class do not like the idea of robots taking away their chance at battle or glory. But a warrior will gladdly take bionics if it means he can keep fighting.
K.A.T. Drone: The Drone is a robotic cat that can be used as a scout, but mostly as an aid or protector of a base camp. It is used in hostle enviroments or durring battle, to scout a head and relay information, eather from video trtansmitions or radio messages, back to its controller. It is a advanced A.I., and can act, think, and make important desitions on its own. They have been known to return their controllers home if they have been ingered to the point where they can not help themselves. They also have skills that most warriors would not have. There is a -3 to hit these targets. ** If you depleat the main body, and excead it by 20 points the robot has a 88% chance of exploding doing 2d6*10 to a 20ft radius. *** This is a small or difficult targets to hit. There is a -2 to hit this target. Without a head the robot can still fight, but it has a -1 to parry, -2 to dodge, -1 to strike, and -6 to inish. He is not trully blind, the robot can still track by his motion detector and micro-radar. The robot also loses all radio, and video transmitters, along with his eye lasers. He can still use his chemical spray, but he has an additional -6 to strike with it, and range is reduced by half. The lost of the ears and eyes are already calculated. **** The difficult targets to hit. There is a -4 to hit these targets. If the eyes are destroyed the robot has a -1 to strike. The rest of the robots senses will enable him to fight. If the ears are destroyed the robot is -1 to parry, -2 to dodge, and -6 to inish. It will also make the unit def, making his audio systems that require sound usless. All the penalties listed above are subtracted from the bonus totals listed below. It will also destroy the radio and scrambler system. Retractable Claws: three claws in each paw. (Twelve total) Damage: 3d4 + PS bonus. Bonus: +10% to climbing skill. Gives a +10 to P.S. checks when useing them to hold on to something.
Robot Program: Investigation Skill Level: 88% Skills of Note: Criminal science/forensics, computer operations, intelligence, interrogation, radio: scrambler, servaillance systems, read sensory instruments, navigation: L.A.W., and pilot: hover craft. There is only a 45% that any of the systems inside can be salvaged, even partly.
K.A.T. Eye: The Eye is an advance spy camera. It looks almost like a giant floating silver eye. It is about the size of a basket ball. Its main use is scout out an area, or to provide servalace. This is not a combat robot, but a great scout. It also has skills that make it a make shift repair robot. Normally when it is used there is a controller guiding it on every step of its journy. It can also do basic repairs on vehicals and other equipment. Unlike the Drone the Eye will transmit everything it sees and hears directly back to its controller. A.R.: 15 S.D.C. There is only a 15% that any of the systems inside can be salvaged, even partly. The Eye is equipt so that it can recharge itself from almost any power suply avalible. It's utility arm is what it uses to "plug in" with when it recharges.
