A messenger hare arrives with a message. He is excited. Running into the mountain he trips over a pastie that fell on the floor during a food fight from the previous morning. He stops running just long enough to pick it up and place it in his mouth. "Mmm. My, my, why let a good pastie go to waste, wot wot? As I always say, all food is good food so eat it! Now what have we got here, eh? Had a food fight, wot? Tsk, tsk, tsk, Never let good food go to waste. I hate a mushy pastie. Oh well. You know, Darkstripe should see this mess. Having food fights while he's away fighting vermin? That is not at all harelike! You are like a bunch of dibbuns!" he says. A fat younf hare interrupts, "Just get on with it. We want the news! Where is Darkstripe? When will he come back?" "All in good time, my lad, all in good time, eh? What do you say we eat breakfast and then I'll tell you all!" "We already ate breakfast!" says a startled young haremaid. "Yes, yes, indeed. Well then, who's for lunch?" "We ate lunch too, and you aint eaten' nobeast!" "Well I don't care what it is, let's eat, I'm famished!" The hares let out a mighty cheer and hold a feast. Then after the feast they gather around the messenger hare, eager to hear his tale. "Ok," he began, "So, I was a searching for Darkstripe many weeks. Finally I stumbled upon him. It appears that he is winning the battle. I tell you, was he ever surprised to see me! Well, anyhow, he tells me that we do not need to wait too much longer. Soon, he'll be coming home! After a week, Darkstripe sends me back to deliver the news. And here I am." he ends, "A toast," he proclaims, "to the health and homecoming of our great badgerlord!" he raises his beaker. Then all the hares shout out loud. "Darkstripe the Mighty! Eulaliaaa!!" raised their beakers and drank it down. "Oh, welcome to Salamandastron, my friend." a hare with officer stripes and many badges and medals turns to you, noticing you for the first time, "home of the United Warriors of Salamandastron Against Vermin. If that's too much of a mouthful we'd rather be called the United Warriors, instead. Darkstripe the Mighty is our badgerlord, dontchaknow?
