Angel Eyes
By Gena Barton

Disclaimer:I don't own them, Joss Whedon does.

Angel eyes, you have angel eyes, such a smile that lights
up my life
You're a dream come, now I'm holding you
And I'll never, never let you go, I will never let you go!

First time I laid my eyes upon you, all my dreams were
answered
First time I kissed your tender lips, my love to you I
surrendered

I'll never let you go, you're always on my mind
You're the only one for me, you're all I need
And I'll never, never let you go

Angel eyes, my heart relies on the love you give to me
You never let me down, you're always by my side
And I'll never, never let you go, I will never let up go!

When my heart starts to crumble and the tears start to fall
You hold me close with tender lovin' and give me strength
to carry on.

And I'll never, never let you go

Steelheart, I'll Never Let You Go.

Buffy lay on the couch curled up with Angel. They were watching a movie. Buffy looked up at Angel and asked "Do you think she is prettier them me?"

"Oh, no! She has nothing on you." He answered without looking down.

"Then why don't you look at me instead of her, when I'm trying to talk to you?"

"Uh...I'm sorry, did you say something?" He asked not paying much attention.

"No." she answered as she got up from the couch.

"Where are you going?" he asked her.

"To bed"

"But the movie isn't over, don't you want to see how it ends?"

"I don't care. You can tell me in the morning." she told him as she left the room.

It wasn't long until Angel turned off the tv and and went to the bedroom. He lay down beside Buffy.

"The movies over already?" she asked him without rolling over.

"No."

"I thought you wanted to see how it ended." She asked him still not rolling over.

"I don't care how it ended, if your aren't watching it with me."

"Oh." she whispered.

Angel rolled her over to face him, "No. I don't think she was prettier then you."

"It's a little late now." She told him as she rolled back over.

"Buffy, I love you. What's wrong? I already apologized about her."

"I'm not mad about that."

"Then what?" he asked.

She rolled over and looked at him, "I was mad because you ignored me."

"Come here, let me make that up to you." He said as he pulled her closer to him. He kissed her soft lips.

"I love you, Angel." She whispered in his ear. "Will you hold me?"

And he did. He held her in his arms the rest of the night.

The End
