Willow and Amy walked down the hall together. Amy was
thanking Willow for some help with an assignment. "Thanks
so much for your help" said Amy. "No problem!" replied
Willow "Why don't you come over soon and we'll make
brownies like we used to."
"Okay" said Amy thinking that she would like to find a
special way to thank Willow for her kindness. She thought
and it came to her she had the perfect gift.
In Amys attic were her mothers spell books. A love spell to
make Xander fall for Willow. It was perfect! Willow had been
crushing on Xander for way too long without any response.
She made the potion and walked to Willows she had to be
outside her window with a picture on Xander to make it work.
If she said Willows name and poured the potion on the
picture it should work. She was ready to pour the potion,
she had chanted Willows name, when blond spiky haired guy
came up behind her. "Well, what have we here, a pretty girl
all alone" Spike said menacingly.
As Amy turned around to see him she dropped the picture
and spilled the potion all over Spike. Spike glanced up and
saw Willow in the window and seemed mesmerized. Amy took this
opportunity to run all the way home.
Spike watched Willow brushing her hair, he thought he had
never seen anyone so beautiful in his life. He stood there
a long time deciding what to do. He recognized her as one
of that pesky slayers friends. No matter, he was in love!
Willow was startled by a knock at her french door. She
opened the curtain to see Spike there. Willow gasped in
fright, then thought to herself, "I am safe I"ve never
invited him in." She was curious and asked through
the glass "What do you want?"
He smiled and said one word "You!" He must have realized
that she misunderstood. Because there was a horror in her
eyes. He rushed toexplain "No pet, not like that, just
you, I can't stop thinking about you. Do you know how
beautiful you are?"
Willow was staring at him as if he were a madman. "Is he
trying to trap me? He seems sincere." She thought troubled.
Spike remained at the window staring at her with a strange
look of longing in his.
"This is too weird" thought Willow, the phone was ringing
and she went to answer it. It was Amy she told Willow
the whole story behind the spell and apologized repeatedly.
Willow tried to make Amy feel better. She knew she had good
intentions. But she didn't know what to do about Spike. Amy
added "I think the spell will only last a couple of weeks,
I thought by then that Xander would really love you."
Willow went back to the window, Spike was still there. She
felt safe knowing about the spell, she cautiously stepped
out on the balcony. "I have to go to bed now Spike, you
should go home" she said nervously.
