The Derelict Ship--Newborn Connection
What it all means...
In the first A L I E N encounter, we saw the huge alien aboard the derelict ship, obviously it had been dead and decaying for a very long time. Tied to the chair, gaping hole in his chest. Something exploded outword. That was all we saw of the Alien. Now, go into the future, way into the future. 260 years to be exact. We see the mutated queen. Giving birth to the new breed of alien, the newborn. So what? What's it mean?
Absolutely Everything.
Take a picture of the newborn. Lovely, isn't it? Now put it up close to the a pic of the Alien on the derelict ship. GASP! Whadda ya' know! Their almost identical! (The derelict ship Alien has been decaying for God knows how long now.) On the Auriga, rember how strong the newborn was. Yet, on the derelict ship, he was tied down. There had to have been something so strong that it could have tied it to a chair and implant it. That would take some strength. This raises another question. What came out of the derelict ship's alien's chest? Where is it now? ON the derelict ship? Was it destroyed on LV-426 in the explosion? Or did it die of age? We may never know this. So, what this basically means is:
The newborn isn't so new at all.
