USS Kitty Hawk departed Guam on April 20, then spent 16 days at sea conducting various exercises in the Guam operations area and transiting to their next exciting port of call. The ship arrived and dropped anchor in Singapore on May 5 and departed on May 9.
The mythical Merlion is the official mascot of Singapore. The model of the creature can be found on the Island of Sentosa. Inside the structure is a museum of Singaporean artifacts and a little bit of history of Singapore. Then you can ride the elevator to the mouth level for a stunning view or walk from there to the head to see a full 360 degree panoramic view of Singapore.
