I won't pretend to be an expert on today's music. I'm not really very into it. However, recently three Music videos featuring daikaiju have recently begun playing repeatedly on MTV and I figured they deserved a place on my page as much as anything. The final daikaiju music video of the summer is Puffy's "Come With Me". Because of the three this is my least favorite, I don't really feel like writing much about it. First of all, I really can't stand rap. I haven't liked it since 2nd grade. If you like rap that's fine with me, I'm just saying that I don't. This in mind, I probably would have liked this video more if I had the TV on mute. It portrays Puffy acting all tough and cool and then shows footage of Godzilla from the USA movie. The shots of Godzilla are nice, but they are without the final detailing the ones in the movie had. In this video (unlike the Wallflowers'), we get to see Godzilla's entire body. It's a little neat to see Puffy screaming into the wind and then realize that Godzilla's breathing on him, but otherwise Puffy comes off as a juvenile baby trying to look good by wearing sunglasses and taking off his shirt. Sayonara for now, and please don't hate me for disliking rap...
