Mutilations of animals by aliens is rampant in the Australian outback according to legendary bushman Larry Dulhunty. The seventy-five year-old Dulhunty is a historian and former traveling showman who lives in Charters Towers and claims to have once seen a wombat which had its organs removed by aliens.

Larry said that bushmen were coming out of the woodwork to tell of such mutilations.

"Many bushies from the outback have told me they have seen hundreds of kangaroos and cattle with organs surgically removed, he said.

"I first came across animal mutilations during the 1980s on the western side of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, I was on a bush road and came across a dead wombat. I looked at the body and found its organs had been removed with the same neatness as a surgeon would use during an operation.

"But the thing that stood out was that there were no flies within a metre of the wombat and no blood," he said.

" Some ringers who worked at the property near Richmond were shooting just before dark and shot a huge kangaroo and left it so they could get more before the light went. When they came back to it they found that the head of the 'roo had been removed and there was no blood. They knew it had been done by aliens wanting the organs for research," claimed Larry.

He added that station workers at Camooweal, near the Queensland and Northern Territory border, at Boulia, Dajarra, Chillagoe, and Birdsville had reported dead cattle and kangaroos with organs surgically removed.

"There is not a doctor for hundreds of miles in those remote places. Many are aware of the mutilations, the bush folk for instance, but they know people will think them crazy if they came forward, so they just talk amongst themselves and tell me," he said.

Larry claimed to have seen scores of UFOs while camped under the stars during his time as a traveling showman.

"I have seen them stop in the sky above me-most are about 5,000ft in the air and can travel at amazing speeds and go up and down.

I served in PNG and Germany during the war as a commando with the Australian Army, so I know what a plane or ack-ack gunfire is.

"I was once near Dajarra with an Aborigine named Doolan, and we saw a reddish to brown flying saucer hovering above us. But I don't think the aliens want to harm us," he added.

Larry, who has had seven books written about him and is soon to star in a television show about Legends of the Great Outback, was asked about the Yowie, a mysterious creature said to inhabit the region.

"I have no doubt that Yowies are put on Earth by aliens from UFOs to check out our animals - just like the mutilations. They appear often and have been seen by so many credible witnesses. "But no one has caught one. And they were never mentioned in the Aboriginal 'dream-time'. So they must come from UFOs," he said.
