THE DEAL:

We are looking for entertaining content to post on this page. If you think you can provide a few fun verses we'd love to review them and see if this web site is a proper showcase for them. By submitting a written work you are allowing us to publish it in this particular venue only, you retain full rights to your work. Of course, we can't pay you for anything you submit, but then again we're not making any money off it either. What you'll gain is the priceless self-satisfaction of being a bona fide member of The Alien Poets Society. (Now how many people can say that?)

THE STYLE GUIDE:

Submit all works via e-mail. We are not able to accept any file attachments at this time, so type it out. If it is really long (more than a couple of pages) type out a sample page and include an estimated page length when using double spaced 12-point type and half-inch margins.

Works based off of already established characters and worlds are welcome (this is a venue for loyal and loving fans). Please include a reference to the book, television show, or film, in which the author's race was originally revealed.

Original ideas (works from previously unknown alien races) are welcome as well. Please include some information on this previously undiscovered race (unless, of course, it's more poetic otherwise).

Remember: we are looking for translations of extra-terrestrial poets whose works have never before been available in English. Any extra-terrestrials wishing to submit their own work need to find another web site.

All submissions need to recognize some form of good taste: no explicit sexual situations, no excessive violence or gore. "Poetry not Therapy" is one of our mottoes.
