Dear Wallace:

I'm looking forward to the Platypus story. It'll be interesting, I'm sure, to see why

you chose to make him a platypus when the rest of the characters seem to all be

human. I still can't get over that beautiful opening panel, though.

Will you be doing a poster or t-shirt based on that?

(Sherlock, I guess, is a platypus for the same reasons that Donald is a duck. He just

came to me in that form! He was originally created as a minor character in a story

I worked on in art school! He became Sherlock Platypus in the short-lived comic book,

TOXIC! in 1990. And yes, Jerry I'd love to do a poster, t-shirt or anything with the

first panel on it! -Wallace)
