Hello.  I am so glad that you are part of my classroom.  Let me introduce myself to you.  My name is Ms. Richards.  Ever since I met my kindergarten teacher, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher too.  After graduating from Maple Hill High School, I went to the College of Saint Rose where I worked really hard to get my Bachelor's Degree in elementary education.  I am currently back at Saint Rose getting my Master's Degree in literacy and substitute teaching during the day.

I really enjoy watching movies or curling up with a good book.  I enjoy traveling to exciting and interesting places.  I also enjoy sports.  I am a big baseball fan and I use to play softball when I was younger.

My family and friends are the most important thing in the world to me.  My mom and dad are two amazing people.  I am an only child so I never had a brother or sister.  Instead I have a bunch of cousins and a great group of friends :)
