The nicest shopping center in Fresno, Fig Garden Village was the creation of an Armenian who had a vision for the future.  Like many Armenian pioneers, he had a vision for the future.  Same goes for Herndon and West Avenues.  For the Longest time, people wondered why there was a shopping center in the middle of nowhere that had such a large and empty parking lot... need less to say, both of these turned into GOLD as the Armenian vision of a greater Fresno came to be.  Both shopping centers, which were known for the very large and very empty parking lots, now have very full parking.

Many shopping centers are Armenian owned, but I do not know all of them.  The 'Cloud' family owns a few but I'm not going to be able to take pics of them all..
