Artistic Coaches
Genevieve Foret: Head Coach/Level 7-Elite
Born March 12th, 1970 in Stamford, CT, Genevieve took up the sport of gymnastics at the age of 7. She competed for the College of William and Mary at the NCAA level and graduated with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. She went on to get a Masters degree from Syracuse University. Genevieve met her husband, former track standout Oliver Foret at Syracuse and the two were married in 1995. The couple has 3 children- Sophia(8), Nicholas(5), and Audrey(2).

Yoshi Watanabe: Levels 7-Elite Vault/Bars/Tumbling
Born January 15th, 1965 in Tokyo, Japan, Yoshi started gymnastics at the age of 5 and reached his countries national team. At the age of 18 he was afflicted with numerous injuries and retired form the sport and want on to get a coaching degree from a university in Japan. Yoshi met his wife, Ayaka, at the university and the two were married in 1989. The couple relocated to the United States in 1991. Yoshi has 3 children- daughters Mayu(14) and Miki(12) and son Naoya(9).

Natalie Castleman: Levels 4-6 Floor/Beam
Born December 12th, 1980 in Rochester, New York, Natalie took up gymnastics at the age of 8 and eventually reached the elite level. She competed in college for the University of Nebraska and graduated with a degree in Nutrition. She went on to graduate school at NYU and works as a nutritionist for models and actors in adition to coaching at AGAM.

Freddy Diamond: Levels 5-6 Coach
Born June 25th, 1975 in Providence, RI, Freddy started gymnastics rather late at the age of 10. He quickly progressed through the levels and competed on the gymnastics team at the US Naval Academy. He graduated in 1997 with a degree in Business and went on to serve in the Navy. In 2002 Freddy married long time girlfriend, Leah Cassidy. The couple has 1 daughter- Kaisa(1).

Tatiana Kaibysheva: Ballet/Choreography
Born August 29th, 1963 in Moscow, Russia, Tatiana began ballet training at the age of 6. She became a member of the Moscow Ballet at the age of 18. Tatiana married Alexei Kaibyshev at the age of 22 and remained a member of the Moscow Ballet until she became pregnant with her first child. In 1990 the family came to the United States where Tatiana taught ballet at various schools. Currently she teaches at various prestigious dance schools in the area as well as at AGAM. Tatiana and Alexei have 3 kids- Marina(16), Oleg(13), and Yurik(9).

Rhythmic Coaches:

Olga Shavokina: Rhythmic Head Coach
Born on March 7th, 1967 in the former Soviet Union (present day Minsk, Belarus), Olga took up rhythmic gymnastics in 1977. She reached the top levels in Soviet rhythmic gymnastics before retiring and relocating to the United States in 1989. She married former Soviet swimmer, Sergei Shavokin, in 1988 and the couple has 2 children- Anna(14) and Pavel(10)

Sofia Abramowich: Assistant Coach
Born July 1st, 1978 in Brooklyn, New York to parents of Russian descent, Sofia took up artistic gymnastics at the age of 5. While she loved gymnastics, tumbling and big skills were hard for her. Unwilling to give up the sport all together, Sofia joined a local rhythmic program where she excelled. She reached the elite level and competed internationally for the United States. She met her husband, David, while in college at NYU and the couple was married in 2003. In 2006 the couple gave birth to their first child, a son named Alexander.
