ABC(4/05/01 10:01:53) Port officials in Indonesia's Maluku islands hold fears for more than 100 people who have been
missing at sea since early this week. The refugees were being repatriated from the main port at Halmahera Island to their villages about 100 kilometres away. they had fled religious viiolence more than a year ago and were finally going home. More than 100 people were onboard the vessel when it departed on Tuesday, although the exact number of passengers and crew onboard remains uncertain as port authorities allolwed the boat to sail without proper documentation.
