In this lawless time stands a lone gunman. His name is Vash the Stampede. He is the Humanoid Typhoon, the man responsible for wiping out the entire city of July. The price on his head: $$60 billion. Truly a man to be dreaded. Where he goes, destruction follows.

This tall and skinny blond may sometimes act like an idiot when it comes to danger. But don't judge him by his actions and his looks. He's actually has a price on his head for $$60 billion!! Why you say? He's known as the Humanoid Typhoon who is rumored to destroy every town he passes...well not really, that IS just a rumor. Did I mention he has a thing for women? In Trigun stage 2, he tried to look under a girl's skirt and the bad guy kicked him in the face for doing it too many times. Anyways he wasn't suppose to act like this. His past is a mystery. I think he use to be a tough guy but something happened to him in the past, amneisa maybe?

Vash holds a cool gun but he never pulls the trigger on anyone. That ticks me off!! At first when I saw the box cover I said WOW! a serious anime. But when I saw the episode after the intro.....Sheeesh it was a funny guy stuffing his mouth with donuts. But I was wrong Trigun is an excellent anime. So why doesn't he kill? In stage 2, he said he fights for peace and love....why does that ring a bell?

Identity

In Trigun no one ever saw the humanoid typhoon at work or in person, but his name is feared and known throughout the land.
Most people say "He wears a red coat, has a mohawk, and holds a big gun." Some say "He wears a red coat, earings, and carries a silver gun." But it's very confusing. For example in Stage 1, there were two villains who said those things about Vash. They wanted the reward and fame. The stupid thing is that they didn't notice that they look like what they said...

Because of the way Vash seems to attract trouble, an insurance company has sent two agents to follow him around and make sure he causes as little damage as possible. By offering donuts as gifts for exchange of little damage to the town. Not only for Vash but also for every single criminal they encouter. The people for this job turn out to be two women whose characters more than succeed in matching Vash's. Meryl "Derringer" Stryfe and Millie "Stungun" Thompson they stick to Vash like glue and paper. These two ladies are fun to watch and are not annoying. These two have there owns guns and they are frightenly scary.
