There it is, the new season six poster. Wonderful isn't it? Bah. (Not that I'm bitter or anything...)
"Gotta Catch You Later"
It begins with our heros visiting the pokemon ceneter in Viridian and Nurse Joy comes over and tells Misty that they'd repaired her bike for her! Not only that, but apparently Misty's sisters left a message with the pokemon center. So Misty calls them and she finds out that they won a trip somewhere and Misty has to go back and watch the gym. Ash says something along the lines of "hey, it's a good thing you got your bike back then, Misty!" Misty yells out something and runs out of the pokemon center, hurt that Ash doesn't seem sad about her leaving.
While wandering, Misty runs into some trouble and they challenge her to a pokemon battle which ends up being a 3 on 1 battle. Ash and brock come to help her out just in time and make the battle even. Once the battle is won and Team Rocket makes an appearence, Ash and Brock walk Misty to the edge of the city.
Misty lectures Ash about how he should always do his best, even now that she wont be there. At this time the song begins to play (click for lyrics). At the end, Misty tells Togepi, "It was a coicidence that we met" To which Ash says "Ours wasn't a coicidence. I think I was supposed to meet you of all people." Then towards the end, Brock says, "We've been through so much together I think we're best friends!" I assume since they'd never verbally said they were best friends, Misty was thrilled.
Brock realizes he has to go to, blah blah (Brock doesn't get his own song). When they go, Ash lowers his head and hides his eyes like he does when he sad and says their names and... "Well, did you want to say something to us?" He lifts up his head and there they are standing in front of him again! Misty gave him a hankerchief and Brock have him food and then they're off again for real. Ash turns around and runs yelling "Misty, Brock, Thank-you!"
And that's the end.
Anyway, May comes in and replaces Misty as most of you undoubtably know. She's not a big fan of pokemon,at least at first, then she gets into pokemon contests and such. It's believed she likes Ash, but Ash shows no interest in her at all, in fact, when she tricked him into traveling with her becuase he 'ruinined her bike' (Ash seems ot have a bad reputation with bikes) he didn't seemt o too thriled with the idea, whereas with Misty, he was alot more enthusiastic.
Misty DOES return, but only for a few episodes two in which she also lets Togepi/Togetic go *sobs* but that's all I'm going to tell you, you jsut have to see the rest for yourself ^_~
As you can see in the hints section as well, Misty has her own 'specials' which is a good sign seeing how the other characters who left never had those. Misty's speeeecial.
Outfit change: Yes! Misty finally gets rid of the red suspenders! SHe jsut trades it in for a YELLOW jogging suit of some sort. It's yellow tight shiorts with a yellow running jacket. Gee... I wonder what her favorite color is...
Double outfit change! Misty changes her outfit in the newest special with her in it. It's stilla yellow top with a hood, but she now has blue shorts that are longer than her old ones, with a belt, and brown boots. Cool, huh? Now if she'll only change her hair styles... |
