Sleeping away as Misty enjoyed the memories she had with Ash, Brock, 
May, & Max but the painful memory she had with togetic on her side. But 
still Misty knew she wanted to go back and see Ash compete in the Hoenn 
League and cheer him on. And she wished and looked outside the gym 
waiting for the gang to visit her in Cerulean City. Still it has not 
happened and she just thought that she needed to go and see Ash win his final 
badge. As she packed her bag and bringing her pokemon and waved to say 
good bye to Daisy as she saw the gym started to get smaller and 
smaller. Traveling with pride and no turning back she made it where Ash and 
the gang were headed next as she surprised them. But she knew in her 
heart that she was missing something then visiting them and she blurted out 
“I want to stay with you guys!” Ash nodded and agreed and 
whispered, “I need to tell you something later tonight just you and me.” She 
blushed and nodded. Later that night Misty couldn’t wait for her and 
Ash finally talk she needed to tell him something really important. 
“How was the travel back?” he questioned, “it was good I guess, but 
there’s another thing I needed to tell you before I left”. Her 
voice was choked “Soon as I aboard the blimp I realized that I didn’t 
want to go back to the gym I wanted to stay with you”. But I know I 
couldn’t, but I just knew I couldn’t and I waited each day for you 
guys to come and see me so I traveled here”. Surprisingly May heard the 
whole thing since she was so curious and jealous that she thought Misty 
would take her place. The next morning rose with a beautiful sunrise 
with beautiful colors and soundly all the heroes slept well except for 
May of course. Not talking as the gang headed to the next stop May 
whispered to Misty “He’s mine so why don’t you lay off of him.” She 
whispered low enough Ash wouldn’t hear. As they approach the pokemon 
center Misty didn’t say anything but just stared looking down and 
didn’t say anything to Ash. As the gang hurried to go eat Misty said she 
was going to take a little walk around. But instead she just ran off 
without saying bye to anyone she ran and ran quick as she could. But in 
the deepest part of her heart she knew it wasn’t meant to be even 
there with Ash at all.
