Ashgrove Badminton Club is one of Canterbury's oldest and largest clubs. Situated within 15 minutes walk from the city centre, and handy to bus stops, which makes it one of the most accessible clubs in Christchurch , New Zealand. The club has  four courts catering for players of all abilities ranging from beginners to advanced players. Club nights are on Mondays and Thursdays. There are even coaches available to assist with players on each night.

The junior club holds its sessions on Monday nights from 6:30 PM till 7:30, which  consists of coaching and games, with the main emphasis on learning the game and having fun.

The senior club is based on adults and some of the club's junior players. The abilities vary from beginners to advanced players. Club nights are on Mondays and Thursdays 7:30 till 9:30 PM.
