THE EXECUTION
It was a very grim day following the feast. A storm had appeared from nowhere during that night. Fukushima was sure it was the gods ready to throw him into the underworld. Musashi had requested to see the doomed noble before the fateful event, for only he knew why the storm had brewed. He knew what he must do, and he knew it may cost him his life. A traitor to his Lord, or a traitor to the ancients? His life, or his soul? He knew he could not let this come down to chance. He had to know if this "Fukushima" man was actually able to read the book. Luckily his request was granted.
Outraged that his meditation had been interupted, Fukushima proclaimed "Who are you? What do you want? Can't you leave a man alone before he has to try redeeming his honour by blade of the sword? Why do you insist on....."
"I give you greetings, now hush before you make me change my mind about saving your life." Musashi snarked back before the fool could finish. "You must entrust your life in me now, I am your only hope. All I want to know is where you found this book?"
"That acursed book? I found it in a cave."
"Can you take me there? Do you remember where it is?"
"Yes, I think so."
"That is all I want to know," and he smirked, "see you in the courtyard." And he walked out of the cell. Outside the door he handed the book to a a person in a dark hooded robe, who quickly ran off.
