LATER THAT DAY

Tomoe was carting in the supplies from the wagon outside, Musashi was lying on the floor looking at the ceiling of the cottage in deep contemplation, and Fukushima was in the corner trying to read from the strange book. He could have sworn that he had been able to read these blank pages just a few days ago. Was he losing his mind? There was barely any pages with writing on them, and he was sure there was a page about a "Kanegoto" in the chapter labeled "Kanben O Tatarimasu". Now it was gone, it seemed as though as time passed by, pages were turning blank within the book. He slammed the book shut and woke Musashi from his day dream. "I see you have little patience there Fukushima san" smirked Musashi, who recieved an evil stare back at him.
"Yes this book is magic, yes it hold the secrets of the ancients in it, yes it is worth more than it's weight in gold, but how are you remaining so calm when it is obvious to me, and anyone else with a brain, that this book is making it's pages disappear. It doesn't want us to read it." Fukushima turned bright red in frustration.
"The ancients were not idiots. They knew everyone with a keen eye, quick hands and a greedy heart would want their secrets. They knew they had to stop dark souls from reading their scripts. Every dark soul lacks one main thing which the ancients used to make sure only a good spirit would learn their ways. Patience is the key, relax will you. The more you want to rush to read the words, the faster they will disappear." With that Musashi lay back down and went back into his dream world.
