These are some of the pictures from David's goodbye parties in July 2002. For some reason, most people I met last year got at least two going away parties. I'm not sure if it was because they were all so well liked, because there was so little to do in Fukui, or if we were all just a bunch of inveterate drinkers who'd take any excuse to go out and knock back a liter or 3 of beer.
