Leaving Oakland
| A week or so before we left Oakland, Chris and Adelle came over to visit. |  |
| Around the same time, Brett, Erik and Spencer also visited. On this day, we went for a picnic in the local graveyard, which happens to have the best views of the bay area. |  |
