Sally was due on Christmas day, and Dimity spent the day with legs crossed praying that she wouldn't give her daughter a Christmas birthday. She only just made it as on the 26th it appeared that labour was imminent and on the 27th she went in to hospital. Labour proper began at about 1:30pm and only three hours later Sally was born under water in the bath! It was not planned this way but there was no shifting Dimity at the time! Paul got his fair share of stress when the baby started being pushed out with no help around. The nurse-call button recieved a major workout over about 10 seconds until they did!. The birth was very quick (10-15 minutes) and problem free.
