| I will wake up with sun and warm dust through the windows of the house I love. I will sink my teeth and be warmed by the soft white toast and tart fatberry jam I love. I will be smoothed and dazzled by warm dashes, mouth fluttering gulps of water that I lean into and soap the soft self I love. I will step carefully, each pavement is precious every footcurve slicing into bellies of the precious. I will hold my round thought like a marble in light palms. There’s a dark sky but such a wide bright Earth. |
