Kalena Vesper had it all. She was the assistant Alchemist of Moon-Struck Lair, studying under the Master Alchemist Radstar Navarr, a position she fought hard for and finally won. She was engaged to her childhood best friend, Thaed Piratrem, and was to be married as soon as his commission as a Knight at the Lair was up. On the outside, her life was perfect, and she had everything she wanted.
