In 1962, I started showing and breeding what was then a new breed of dogs, Silky Terriers. I have always been interested in the unusual and innovative, as well as the visually pleasing parts of life. In the 70's, my interests shifted to Harlequin Great Danes, like my beloved Shadeau who is pictured with me above. We lost her in February 1995 (I am in tears as I write this last line - she was very special and her loss is deeply felt).
I was very active in showing my Danes, as well as in breeding and training. Shadeau's grandson, CH. Tall Tales Designer Genes, is pictured at the right at a show. "Tall Tales" was the name of my kennel.
In 1988, I started breeding and showing cats, first the Scottish Folds, then American Curls. My first cattery name was EarsRus, which ToysRus decided they did not want us to use, and rather than face a lot of legal entanglement, I changed our cattery name to Earesistible (and like it much better).
I am EXTREMELY PROUD to tell you that my grand daughter, Amanda Rose, has been showing cats with me for the past two years. She is very special to me, and I am hopeful that someday she will *be* Earesistible!
