For what it’s worth

Forever eager to kill

Wandering around

Looking always for a thrill

Going underground

It’s seemingly meaningless

How we all throw it away

But with an embrace, a caress,

Fate comes for all of us, some day

Degenerate and deteriorate

Focus on the inside

Looking through a soiled grate

Smiling up at the sky: you they cannot hide

Should there be something to what we do,

A deeper meaning to our daily stupidities

Then, perhaps, there is hope for you too

And perhaps, there is a man who always sees

It could be that passion is out of fashion

And that romance is out

Maybe it’s time for another session

To find out what it’s all about

For what it’s worth, come down to Earth

So we can live as one
