Since, in effect, there IS
A CREATION , there has to be a CREATOR !
( and we can give that CREATOR any name we chose to such as "Kami" or "God"
! )
( We KNOW that there is a CREATION, so logic tells us it has to have had a CREATOR! )
Rather, as Shintoists, our
task is to try and look at all the evidence which is present in order to
derive a logical hypothesis or theory as to what GOD is all about, and
more importantly, to determine what OUR ROLE might be within it's overall
plan or activity !
We know that this thing is "energy" or "force" released with the "big bang" at the creation of the ever-expanding universe. ( It does not matter why the big bang occured, or if it indeed did occur, only that all evidence we have supports the theory that energy exists and creates change when acting on any type of matter in our universe )
So ! it is highly possible/ probable that God ( Kami ) is that universal ENERGY or FORCE which causes all change within our universe ( * or it is something else that we are totally unaware of which created that universal FORCE or ENERGY ! )
The fact that many EARLY religions WORSHIPPED the SUN (instiller of ALL LIFE FORMS ON EARTH as the sole provider of energy !) as GOD, points to the possibility of divine intervention or enlightenment for certain indeviduals throughout history supporting the hypothesis that the UNIVERSAL FORCE/ENERGY is GOD itself ! *
The SHINTO religion
of Japan worshipped all forms of energy for over 3000 years, In ancient
Egypt, one of the principal Gods was also "RAH" the sun God , as was the
case of the sun God in the Aztec culture and a host of other civilizations
throughout history !
If you look at the whole thing LOGICALLY (cutting away all the organised religious brainwashing / indoctrination hype and propoganda !) you will see that we should either worship UNIVERSAL ENERGY or the CREATOR OF THAT ENERGY ! ( if we worship ENERGY, it is something we can measure and detect, while if we try to worship a CREATOR of that ENERGY, we haven't a clue as to what it is ! )
Interi Shintoism cannot justify worshipping the
creator of univeral energy because there is nothing we can use as a point
of reference to it, so, we worship the gift of life itself, the universal
energy or force !
we accept that is why we exist, where our personality
( identity , Id, self or soul ) came from, and will return to in another
dimension when our physical body ceases to exist. !
We call it Kami ( meaning spirit, energy, or God in Japanese. )
HURDLES :
The biggest hurdle we have to overcome is 3000 years of systemized RELIGIOUS CONDITIONING (brainwashing) where the tenet or task has been to worship HUMAN beings or OBJECTS as GOD ! ( so strong and organised has been this religious conditioning that millions of human beings have killed others who did not support these different totalitarian ideologies , and millions more who refuse to accept these ideologies will die in the near future ! )
The reason it was easy to devise or invent a MAN-GOD is because the un-educated masses could not relate to anything in abstract terms, and needed something they could relate to on a personal level in order to accept it as the truth ! ( coupled this with a strong indoctrination program and you end-up with a fanatic defender of that ideology ! )
If you look at the standard indoctrination techniques used by the military , corporate business , governments and so-called "CULTS" , you will see that most ORGANISED RELIGIONS use many , if not all , of these time - proven techniques to attract and convert members into their groups or movements !
"GOD, the universal energy or power exists because WE EXIST !
