Mount Tabor Retreat Center

Transfiguration Oratory

Oratory Built in an octagonal-shape and encircled by large glass windows, the worship space is filled with light and a magnificent view of the mountains.

The shadows in the oratory act as a sundial. From dawn till dusk, you can watch the path of the sun. The outside flows inside, as you view the trees and mountains. All blends to contribute to your prayer.

The monastic library is housed on the second floor of this building. It contains books and journals on spiritual and biblical topics. A large selection of videos are available for your use, featuring retreat directors and speakers.

Outdoor Way of the Cross

Way of the Cross

Entwined among the trees and rocks, we have built a lovely outdoor Way of the Cross. It is a refreshing way to experience the tranquility of the mountains and meditate on the love our God has shown us through the life and death of Jesus.

Glenwood Hermitage

For those who would like a hermitage experience, we have a small private house at the end of our garden which has cooking and restroom facilities. It is ideal for spending quality time in quiet solitude - praying, reading or writing that book that has been waiting to emerge. There will be no one to interrupt, no phone to answer.
