KAPAMPANGAN is an Austronesian language spoken in the Kapampangan region
of the Philippines (comprised of the province of Pampanga, South Tarlac,
and certain areas of the proviinces of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, and
Zambales). The purpose of this section is to enable the reader to acquire
a working knowledge of Kapampangan withou the benefit of personal instruction
obtained in a classroom or from an individual tutor. Companion sections
on pronunciation and grammar as well as useful expressions and a tri-lingual
dictionary are also provided. It is hoped that after working carefully
through the lessons, the student should be able to read such written Kapampangan
as he or she is likely to encounter and, with practice, to engage in simple
conversations with Kapampangans.
