Spirit Of The Soul ... about me My belief? I was brought up with the Christianity view of life. Being, raised in rural Texas, a small town by the name of Orchard, population of 303. I should have realized that I would have a narrow mindedness that most individuals do not acquire... Being around the same individuals in the home, the church, the school life, and in play... I developed a way of thinking that was controlled... I had no way to branch out, due to the lack of experience and the ability to work my own mind... At the age of 39, I had a true rebellion. I opened my eyes and I saw the real me. Or maybe, I should say, I heard ME for the first time. Everything I said, or even did in a normal days routine, was simple imitation... I had no true thoughts of my own... I then, set myself on a journey to accomplish and find out just who Terry Lou really was... I have no apologies nor regrets, for my journey in the last year has been illuminating, to say the least. My expressions and thoughts, now, are echos from my own convictions. I'm not shunning nor trying to avoid the influence that others want to instill in me. I now listen, or try to listen, and absorb the thoughts or expressions that I want to absorb (or agree with) and ditch those ideas that do not go along with my convictions. For thoughts are in a constant cycle of being revived, recycled, and then renewed... In simple definition, I'm choosing my own way... ... my family I have two children: Robert Michael, my son, is 21... Of many talents and mastery with his hands... Can dazzle the ladies with the soul of his eyes and the spirit of that quick smile... Courtney Anne, my daughter, is 19... She has the fire and the spirit of the hot Texas sun on a bright sunny day... (and guys, she is a knock-out, and available, grinning... if any of you think you can lasso this lass, just send me an e-mail and photo and job description of yourself... EVERYONE has heard of Redindy... grinning... ... my likes Oh my, likes? You bet I have likes... I love cats!... Cats have the spirit of the Gods in them... they are loving, cunning and crafty... I like to soar sailplanes... of soaring, I can't say enough. The feeling of being above the earth, so quiet, so smooth, with all the vision to see... the rising feeling upon the warmth of the thermal is so overwhelming... It's a savatical feeling... I like doing anything outdoors... from baseball, to walking in the hills and forest... I just love nature and life... Return to home page
