may not seem much to you
but did you ever stop to think

because its measures are infinite
when you pause to give consideration
to the impact you have on those around you

the loss of you would do to those others
those others who see you in their own ways
We loved ones are selfish
we see your struggles with life
but we cannot bear to part with you
so we struggle to help you see your worth
and show you that there are reasons to live
The thought of losing you
cuts through me like a razor
and I selfishly know in my heart
that it's more bearable to see you alive
and unhappy than dead and silent forever.
You light every day of my life
and if you were no longer there
shadows would live there forever
and the lights would go out. All of them.
