(Originally published December 1999)
Although these students have since gone on to high school,(and doing quite well) I am keeping this page up as a resource for students hoping to gain ideas for science projects. Feel free to take a look at what these students came up with...

Here are our science fair prize winners:
Top Left: Meghan won the sixth grade third prize in Earth Science.
Top Middle and Right:Lauren and Cindy shared the sixth grade
second prize in Biology.
Bottom Left: Michael and Shelby (not pictured) shared the sixth grade
third prize in Biology.
Bottom Middle: Lauren won the sixth grade first prize in Biology.
Bottom Left: Christina is our school-wide grand prize winner in Chemistry.

Cindy and Lauren display their project titled, 'Which Gender Has a Faster Reaction Time?'

Here Alberto displays his model and project, 'How Does a Telegraph Work?'

Congratulations to Shelby and Michael for winning third prize in our science fair for their project, 'Bacteria versus Mold'

Bruce and Ramon did a terrific job on their project, 'How Does the Queen Bee Lay Her Eggs?'

Kudos to Christina(top right), who won the sixth grade grand prize in chemistry for her project 'Testing Water Quality'. Here she displays her project with a little help from her friends, (left to right)Allison, Cindy, and Sandra.

Christina (top right) shows her project and clever model of an electric circuit on her science quiz game board with Cindy and Sandra.

Brian (left) helps Sal (right) display his project titled, 'Liquid Layers'. This project illustrates the differences in the density of three liquids (oil, water, and syrup).

Here Lauren displays her prize-winning project, 'Testing Biodegradability'.

Meghan proudly displays her prize-winning project, 'How the Speed of Wind is Measured'.

Here Paul displays his interesting project, 'Do Plants Grow Better in Clay Pots or Plastic Pots>'.

Tracy collected a lot of data for her project, 'Does Color Affect Plants?'.
