The web page linked below, "Perspectives on International Relocation," gives personal accounts of refugees
who have immigrated to Fargo, North Dakota, in the United States. It was a project I completed in the fall of 1996 for a geography class, and contains some interesting and important information.
This page is continually under construction. Please visit frequently to view the updates!

Anthropology, French, International Studies
I am a fifth year student at
North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND. I'm majoring in
Anthropology, for a B.A., and French and International Studies, for a B.S.. I will soon be graduating: May 8, 1999!
For the month of June, 1997, I participated in an
Archaeological and Cultural Field School in American and Western Samoa. It was an incredible experience. Once you have been to the South Pacific, no other beach may ever compare... This summer, in July of 1999, I will return to the Samoan Islands. I will again work with Dr. Jeff Clark, this time on an independent research project as he conducts another group of interested students in a field school.
I got my first glimpse of Europe in May of 1998, as I took part in a
Geo-archaeological Field Course in Italy for two weeks. We toured Southern Italy, Sicily, and the Aeolian Islands, visiting Roman and Greek archaeological sites and various active volcanos! I spent a third week traveling with two friends in Northern Italy, with a brief stop in Southern France (exercising my first real opportunity to practice French in its proper context!).
