Black swan

The black swan, Cygnus atratus (family Anatidae), is a common migrant on Cape York Peninsula.

Its name, inh owonhdhom, is in fact the word that Uw Oykangand and Uw Olkola speakers use for the magpie goose when speaking Uw Ilbmbanhdhiy (replacing inh alwangar).
