College is a two year program leading to career oriented employment
and can also serve as the first two years of a four year program
in Engineering Technology at a State University. A rigorous study
of mathematics and electronics theory is included.

Bachelor of Science Industrial Technology
The Electronics program at East Los Angeles College
will provide credit for lower division work towards a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Industrial Technology. The requirements for
the programs are similar, but do differ slightly in prerequisites.
Students are advised to verify the particular requirements of
the college of their choice. As a guide, the student should complete
Math 261 as well as the required Chemistry and Physics courses
before transferring.
To qualify for the B.S.I.T. program, the student
should present to the college to which he will transfer an A.S.
degree, the lower division transfer requirements, and completion
of the Electronics program at East Los Angeles College.
